Welcome to the Intelligent Sensor Systems Laboratory (ISSL)!
- The Intelligent Sensor and Systems Laboratory (ISSL) aims to conduct "End-to-End design" covering the entire process from sensor signal interpretation to circuit design and embedded system development.
- Our laboratory focuses on three main research domains Front-End Circuit Design, Back-End Circuit Design, and Embedded Systems to develop integrated circuits and systems that can process sensor signals with the highest accuracy and efficiency.
- By integrating these domains, ISSL strives to realize fully optimized sensor-to-system solutions that bridge circuit design and AI-based processing.
Research Areas
Front-End Circuit Design
Research and development of core technologies for realizing 1D, 2D, and 3D imaging
Development of high-performance IPs through optimized ROIC design and system architecture
Solving key technical challenges related to speed, image quality, and noise
Back-End Circuit Design
Development of sensor-integrated system modules
Design of high-speed signal packaging circuits to optimize electrical performance and ensure reliability
Research on next-generation packaging circuits based on EMI/EMC analysis and signal/power integrity (SI/PI) optimization
Embedded System
